Volume - The amount of space occupied by a three-dimensional figure is called its volume. The formulas for finding the volume of solids is often the formula for finding the area of it's base times it's length. Here are several volume formulas:

Volume of a rectangular prism = length x width x height

Volume of a triangular prism = (length x width x height)/2

Volume of a pyramid = (length x width x height)/3
